Terminal Services Manager (TSM)

Mission:

The Terminal Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations. The TSM instructs and supervises a team of Terminal Services Technicians to ensure daily service requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. The TSM implements policies and procedures to ensure terminal specific staff is in compliance and will act as liaison between local management and our management.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships with Hub Management and onsite service partners, while also serving as liaison between local Hub Management and Remprex Sr. Management
  • Designate, report, and manage all terminal services issues/problems.
  • Generate and distribute reports for terminal services in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for staff to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back up for absent employees, scheduling, shift rotations, payroll and disciplinary action. (All schedule changes must be approved by the Manager of TS)
  • Provide training as necessary for authorized system users. This shall entail any initial training for new users, updates or any other training requests.
  • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly safety meetings as representative of the company, and be an active participant of the safety team.
  • Responsible for company vehicle maintenance tracking.
  • Responsible for group communications and team building. (Staff meetings, EAG, etc.)
  • Responsible for site facility budget.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly coaching and counseling sessions with staff.
  • Assist staff in resolving Terminal Services related issues
  • Responsible for TSG trouble ticket tracking and escalation.
  • Will be TSG certified to troubleshoot and replace hardware components.
  • Will be CPR and Safety Certified.
  • Perform daily staff safety briefings and ensure staff is in compliance with rules, regulations and safety guidelines at all times. (ErailSafe badges and PPE-personal protective equipment)
  • Conduct interviews, provide employee orientation and complete human resource paperwork.
  • Conduct and provide training/certification for Terminal Services Associates.
  • Assist in the completion and take part in employee reviews
